as Brown Rice and Organic Rice.
Myth: Rice lacks in
nutrients.
Fact: Rice has all the essential
nutrients like Carbohydrates, Proteins, Vitamins and Minerals. Because of the carbohydrates
present in it, rice becomes a great source of energy. Carbohydrates help the body carry out its
functions, everyday growth and repair. After carbohydrate, protein is the
second-most abundant nutrient found in rice. Rice protein is considered to be
of the highest quality compared to other grains.

Fact: Rice is low in sodium, so it is
considered one of the best foods for those suffering from high blood pressure and hypertension.

Fact:
Rice contains no gluten, which makes it one of the best
non-allergic foods among all grains.
Myth: Having rice in dinner causes obesity
Fact: Rice can be included in dinner but
requires at least two hours to digest as it’s a complex carbohydrate which is
digested to form glucose. This glucose doesn't turn into fat in night.
